Mereka membayangkan jika burung itu harus bisa bertelur emas, bagian dalamnya pasti terbuat dari emas. Dan mereka berpikir bahwa jika mereka bisa mendapatkan semua logam mulia itu sekaligus, mereka akan segera menjadi kaya raya. Maka pria itu dan istrinya memutuskan untuk membunuh burung itu.

Namun, setelah membelah angsa itu, mereka terkejut menemukan bahwa isi perutnya seperti angsa lainnya!
